Tordinci is a community with 4,500 inhabitants, just over
1,000 of them in the village of the same name about some 10 km
due west of Vukovar in the
Vukovar-Srijem County.
At the moment I have no other info except that the flag of the
communiyt is blue with the coat of arms in the middle - as could
be seen on the photo at <www.bosut.net>
showing the community building with a blue flag hoisted on the
flag staff.

At the time I reported it the photo of the community building
showed only a flag on a mast that was to small to see what's on
it. Now the site include the drawings of the Coat of Arms as well
as further images fo the flag, confirming the design. The
coat of arms is gules a chief and a pale argent. The flag is blue
with the coat of arms in the middle. The tau-cross in the
coat of armss is the initial of the community name.

Here is the source to confirm what we already know: Statut Opcine
Tordinci, 10.06.2005, Slubeni vjesnik Vukovarsko- srijemske
upanije, br. 8/05, 23. lipnja 2005, str. 87-94. As in so
many cases, the description in the Statutes is very detiled but
everyone misses an important detail. So, the coat of arms is
described to be of a red field with a silver/white cross, without
any mention that this is not quite the usual cross. On the other
hand, the flag is described in all the redundant construction
details: 100x200cm, size of the coat of arms width 42 cm height
50 cm, distance from the left and right edges 79 cm, from top and
bottom 25 cm.
