The community of Malinska-Dubanica is in NW part
of the Krk Island, with just barely above 2000 inhabitants
(i.e. in winter, during the summer just like many other coastal
communities the number of people spending holydays there rises
the number even ten times or more). The coat of arms of Malinska
- Dubanica is Azure an oak tree eradicated or.
The oak tree is canting for the second part of the community name
that is developed from the ancient slavic word for the oak groove
(dub). Until 1997 the community was named only Malinska
(and I am not quite sure about the story behind why the addition
was added.) The flag is light blue with the Coat
of Arms in the middle.

The symbols of Malinska-Dubanica were adopted in 1997,

The flag is light blue with the Coat of Arms
in the middle bordered golden. The light blue is explicitly used
in the description of the flag, but not of the coat of arms. I
have not seen the real flags, but the road signs I have seen use
the light blue for the coat of arms, too (at least as far as I
could remember, I forgot to take photos few moths ago). The
ceremonial flag is not mentioned, but it is highly probable that
there could be one.
