Overview

Petrijevci is a community 10 km north-west of Osjiek, with some 3,000 inhabitants, most of them living in the main village of the community of the same name.
The coat of arms might have been adopted around, say, 1995. and could be seen on <www.osjecko-baranjska-zupanija.hr> while the ceremonial flag is shown on the local Voluneteer Firefighters Society Band  <www.vzzob.hr>. This may mean that the brass band may be using this flag as its own, which is odd, but not quite that unthinkable...
The coat of arms of Petrijevci is Gules two keys or in saltire with wards down and out and in base a bar of the same. The keys are no doubt a reference to the namesake of the community St. Peter. The flag is light blue with the coat of arms in the middle. The ceremonial flag is also light blue, vertical gonfalon with three tails with triangular endings each containing a yellow oak branch ornament. The coat of arms is in the middle and the name of the community above in two arhces.
