Overview

Donji Miholjac is a city with some 10,000 inhabitants (7,000 in the city itself) about 40 km north.west of Osjiek, at point where Drava leaves the border with Hungary and stars flowing "inlands". Until 1997 it had the status of a community.
The Coat of Arms pictures the saint patron (and the namesake) Archangel Michael, holding a sword and red oval shield with white cross standing over a dragon. The flag is white with yellow bordered coat of arms in the middle.

Donji Miholjac is a city in the Osijek-Baranja County with just over 10,000 inhabitants (about 7,000 in the city itself), some 40 km upstrem of the Drava river (northwest) from Osijek, located more or less at the point where the Drava leaves the Croatian Hungarian border and continues though the Croatian "inland". Until 1997 Donji Miholjac had status of a community.
The coat of arms picutres Archangel Michael, the namesake of the town, holding a sword and red oval shield with white cross standing over a dragon.
The flag is white with yellow bordered coat of arms in the middle. The flag was spotted on TV in 2003, the coat of arms was borrowed from <www.osjecko-baranjska-zupanija.hr>
