Sv. Kri Zacretje (Zac^retje) is a community in the
Krapina-Zagorje County, populatuion 7,000, 20 km. north of
Zagrbe, 10 km. south of Krapina. Sv. Kri means literaly St.
Cross.
The Coat of Arm seems to be approved by the
Ministry: azure a cross or and in a chief argent a helmet azure
lined and crowned or and visored gules manteled dexter gules and
or and sinister azure and argent.
The flag is white with yellow bordered coat of arms in the
middle.
For the manteled helmet it is said to be a detail from the coat
of arms of Erdödy, though there surely it has been used above
the shield and not in it. The golden cross on blue refers to the
city name and is derived from the previously used coa-like
emblem.
This Previous Coat of Arms was adpted
according to my estimation around 1993. It is an overburdened
shield that includes golden cross with the Croatian wattle cross
in it, and blue quarters including these elements: a crown, the
Croatian chequy field, a mullet, an antique helmet, a sabre, a
plough on a green fields, a rising sun and a bridge in the
national tricolour. The flag for the period was not reported, nor
do I think that there was one.

On the flagmaker's site at <www.zastave.com> of
"Valentino vez" Beltinec, there could be seen phtoto of
the ceremnial flag of Zacretje. Also a table flag could be see of
the same design but square with fringe at the bottom and missing
the ornament below the coat of arms. The ceremonial flag is white
gonfalon with trinagular fly ending with a golden fringe
containing in the middlethe coat of arms topped with the name of
the community in two arches (SVETI KRI / ZACRETJE) and
below golden ornaments consisting of six wheat stalks and vine
branches.

In a flag manufacturer's promotive booklet I located a photo
of a flag of Sveti Kri Zacretje with the old coat of arms.
The manufacturer is imic & Co. d.o.o. from Krapina
(they have a site at <www.simic-co.hr>
but no flag images there as far as I have noticed). The
flag with the previous coat of arms of Sv. Kriz was as the
current flag also white with the coat of arms in the middle and
with the name of the community in an arch following the curvature
of the shield in blue block letters. The coat of arms itslef is
in minor details different from the one I posted previously, but
I do not think that this has much weight (colouring of the
plough, bridge in the base, black circle surrounding the sun disk
and the most notably white colouring of the watteled cross).
