The Société Navale de l'Ouest (SNO) operated scheduled lines between France and Algeria and West Africa. THe SNO ships all had saint names, such as Saint Matthieu and Saint Luc.
The SNO is still listed on the trade register of Nanterre, with its seat in the port of Rouen. The company is now part of the Bolloré group and does not operate its own ships any longer. The last of them, Saint Roland and Saint Romain, have got new names.

The house flag of the SNO is white with a blue O letter in the middle, as can be seen on the shares of the company.
