Francisco Manuel García reported in the Spanish Vexilologia mailing list the flag of San Martín de la Vega, a town in SE Madrid Community which has recently become better known because of a new Warner Bros theme park nearby. He says he saw the flag on TV as a rectangular yellow flag with a black embattled border. However, both the town council's website and the official adoption text describe it as square (with or without the arms):
The (official) flag can be seen in the municipal website together with the arms.
The flag follows a 1984 design proposed by the late Vicente de Cadenas y Vicent (the Spanish Registrar of Arms). It was adopted by the town council on 29th August 1984 and subsequently approved by the regional government on 18th July 1986, published in the Boletín Oficial de la Comunidad de Madrid no. 197 of 20th August 1986.
