Description

Diagonally divided flag from bottom hoist to top fly, the hoist part red and the fly part similarly divided into a white top and yellow bottom. On the canton a blue chessrook fimbriated yellow as high as 1/3 of the flag's height and separated from the hoist by 1/9 [of the flag's length]. Ratio 2:3.

Colours from the arms. The chessrook represents the Rocabertí family, former barons of Navata, and the white and yellow slant stripes represent the crossed keys in the arms, which are the attribute of St Peter, the local patron saint. Flag adopted 20th April 1994. Source for image and text: Fluvià 2001.
