A yellow flag with black and red stripes on top (resembling the German colors) and reverse red and black stripes on bottom, the yellow part being four times as wide as the each red or black stripe with LDPD symbol in center. According to Günther 2000 the flag was horizontally striped black-red-yellow-red-black (1+1+4+1+1) with the symbol in the center.
