According to Günther 2000 the symbol of the DBD was not unicolored yellow. The white lettering 'DBD' should be on a brown background (unfortunately printed black in Der Flaggenkurier), the lettering Demokratische Bauernpartei Deutschlands should be black on white, the ear should be yellow on white, the plough black.
