Francova Lhota flag

Village of Francova Lhota is situated in a southern part of Vsetin district. The altitude of its center is 487 m. The village is separated  from Lysky pass by a low range of hills. The highest peak in the range are Vrchkopec and Cuba hill (720m).
Municipality of Francova Lhota is composed of part Francova Lhota itself and part Pulcin. The total population is 1621 (31st Dec 1999). The origin of the village goes back to the 2nd half ot the 13th century. The most remarkable sights are the church of St. Stephen dated to the end of the 18th century and 300 - 400 years old protected lime tree - "Kobzova lipa".
