Olomouc new city flag

If you want to see real flag of Olomouc city I was refering about > before, You can see it on this webpage. The image by Mr. Blas Delgado Ortiz is beautiful, but unfortunately  - wrong, because the letters are too close to the eagle instead of being in the corners of the field which was the way I was describing it. (In another worls  - I told you, but you didn´t hear me :-)"

The flag war granted in 1995 and the decree is from 1996. So, the material I saw, was a little different. The word description of the flag basically suits to both picture. But, because Olomouc has a decree, the new picture is accurate.

Olomouc city flag (1995)

[Olomouc city flag] by Blas Delgado Ortiz, 15 May 2001

The Flag of the Town is a blue field with chequy Eagle displayed Argent and Gules, crowned and membered Or, langued Gules, taking the half of the lenght of the field, in the centre of field. Near the flagpole are yellow "maiuscule" letters S and Q, in the fly similar letters P and O, placed one below the other. Ratio of the field  is 2:3 (Public notice Nr.25/1996 - The City Statute, Article Nr. 6) - It is a banner of arms. I can confirm it, as I saw it above the main entrance to the City Hall.
