The size of the coat of arms is not defined. Jiri Tenora suggests that it should be probably 1/3 of flag width (i.e. 1/2 of height), and is probably right, I tried some other sizes (1/3 and 2/3 of height), which were not appropriate.

Album des Pavillons [pay00] shows a border guard ensign consisting of a blue-white-red triangle placed along the hoist, the field being otherwise red.
