The new commune of Farvagny is born from the fusion of former communes of Farvagny-le-Grand, Farvagny-le-Petit, Grenilles and Posat. The new flag has taken over the lion Azure and the bend Or from Farvagny-le-Petit and Posat together with the maple leaves from the flag of Farvagny-le-Grand.
