The new commune of Villorsonnens is born from the fusion of former communes of Chavannes-sous-Orsonnens, Orsonnens, Villargiroud and Villarsiviriaux. The new flag has been adopted after a public contest where it has been selected amongst 3 proposals kept for final vote (see http://www.villorsonnens.com/arm.html). The 4 stars stand for the 4 former communes.
