The flag of Grindelwald is new and based on the arms available at the bottom of the following page: www.grindelwald.ch/admin/Beschreibung.htm. The old arms and flags of Grindelwald were made of 3 horizontal stripes of
red-white-red and corresponded to the arms of the dukes of Austria.
