Lutsel K'e

Unequal triband of dark turquoise, white and dark turquoise charged on the white area with a local badge. This badge, shows a bald eagle in wire-frame catching a fish, against a background of (blue) river shore dotted with green fir and an arch of yellow sun discs.

Lutsel K'e (meaning "place of small fish"), with a population of 304 (as of 1996), was also called by the name of Snowdrift and is located at 64°24'N lat. and 110°44'W long., on a peninsula extending into Christie Bay on the south shore of the East Arm on Great Slave Lake. Local languages are Chipewyan and English, and the community belongs to the electoral district of Tu Nedhe and to the land claim area of Treaty 8 First Nations.
