Fort Good Hope

Unequal triband with white stripes on the sides and a landscape on the central area. This shows a night scene featuring stars, moonlight and aurora borealis above a rocky inlet with a village. Bellow, on two lines, the lettering "Radilih Koe / Gateway to the Arctic" in yellow sans letters.

Fort Good Hope (also called Radili Ko, meaning "rapids", see alternate spelling on the flag), with a population of 644 (as of 1996), is located at 62°50'N lat. and 116°04'W long., on the middle course of the Mackenzie river. Local languages are North Slavey and English, and the community belongs to the electoral district and land claim area of Sahtu.
