Fort Good Hope

Unequal triband with white stripes on the sides and a landscape on the central area. This shows a night scene featuring stars, moonlight and aurora borealis above a rocky inlet with a village. Bellow, on two lines, the lettering "Radilih Koe / Gateway to the Arctic" in yellow sans letters.

Fort Good Hope (also called Radili Ko, meaning "rapids", see alternate spelling on the flag), with a population of 644 (as of 1996), is located at 6250'N lat. and 11604'W long., on the middle course of the Mackenzie river. Local languages are North Slavey and English, and the community belongs to the electoral district and land claim area of Sahtu.
