People's Republic of Bielorussia

On thursday's edition of the newspaper "Le Matin" from the Romandie, there is an article about a petition in a Bielorussian town of Klietsk, already countersigned by about 170 people, asking for a transformation of the town into a principality (?!?!?!?) called People's Republic of Bielorussia (principality with a Republic name, furthermore an People's Republic?!?!?).The journal say that it's really annoying for Loukachenko, as it had already happenend in 1918 in the same region, where a PR of Bielorussia had existed for 10 months with a white and blue flag that today's independantist leader Oleg Nikouline would reuse....The leader would like to make this principality a kind of eldorado like San Marino...
Actually, the article is taken from an other journal, the Sievodna from Biellorussia.

A.Basov (Bielorussia) reported about w-b-w flag of National Movement of 'yatvagi'. Blue stripe means the river Sozh.

The flag of Starayatvag was published some years ago for a vex bulletin probably Gaceta de Banderas, but I don't knowe nothing about this minory. The flags is same that national belarussian one in this era (w-r-w) but blue instead red.
That is the diference between starayatvag and yatvagi? Who are them?

Yatvagi - small nation lived in western-baltia. After defeat in battle against duck of Lithuania they went to river Sozh (now - in Belarus). 'mladoyatvagi' (young yatvagi) and 'starayatvagi' (old yatvagi)  - two political wings of national movement.
I don`t know details, but  'starayatvagi' - more friendly to Belarus, 'mladoyatvagi' - more independentists.
