The coat of arms of the Region of Gomel is green shield with

of Gomel City from 1590). In the centre of silver cross is small
azure shield with laying gold lynx - this is modern coat of arms of Gomel City; In
the top part of a cross is silver archer. In the left part of a
cross is a black horn (from the coat of arms of Rogachyov City).
In the right part of a cross is a black eagle (from the coat of
arms of Mozyr City)/ In the bottom part of a cross is a pink
banner with the horseman (Pursuit) (from the coat of arms of
Rechitsa-city and Rechitsa County, will be informed tomorrow).
The shield is topped with the big gold city crown. The shield is
framed by gold oak branches which have been tied up by a red
medal tape of the Order of Lenin.
