The flag of Limeira can be found at

Joseph McMillan, 6 February 2001
According to the same site, the municipal flag of Limeira is blue with a green
cross superimposed upon a wider white cross (officially but inaccurately described
as quartered per cross), representing the Christian spirit of the people of Limeira.
The coat of arms on the center of the flag represents the municipal government;
the white lozenge on which it is placed represents the city itself, seat of the municipality
the stripes comprising the cross represent the extension of municipal power
throughout the municipal territory. The blue
quarters represent the rural areas of the municipality. Of the colors, white is
said to symbolize peace, amity, purity, piety, and so on; green is for
honor, civility, courtesy, abundance, and joy; and blue is for justice, nobility, zeal,
perseverance, and loyalty. Proportions are 14:20, conforming to the proportions of the
national flag.
