The flag is divided horizontally green over yellow. In the upper hoist is a large white star and just above the center line, a thin white stripe. Although the source doesn’t say so, the green and yellow are obviously an allusion to the national flag, while the star and the thin stripe are the featured elements of the state flag. Boa Vista is the capital of Roraima.
Note: The website shows this flag in very pale colors. I've taken the
liberty of putting them into a more typical Brazilian flag palette, in the
belief that these are more likely the actual colors used.
