The flag of South Sydney City Council is a logo on a white field. The logo features red factories and green swathes of grass and the words "South Sydney City Council". It can be seen at the council website. The green and red are taken from the colours of the South Sydney Rugby League Club.

South Sydney City Council used to cover the area just to the soth of
Sydney's CBD. Early in 2004, the state government forced South Sydney to
merge with the City of Sydney. The image was made using an image of the logo
taken from the Council's website while it still existed. Note that the
green swathes of grass I mentioned in 2001 actually look like a eucalyptus
leaf.
